The Central Panay Mountain Range (CPMR) is one of the 128 Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs) in the Philippines. The conservation of the forests and species in the area is challenged by charcoal-making, timer collection, grass fire, hunting, and more.
In response, DENR, 16 municipal LGUs and the Haribon Foundation organized the Bantay Gubat/Wildlife Enforcement Officers. Here you will find their locations, numbers, and the methodologies used to implement local law enforcement in the area.
