This is the line that challenged and fattened the heart of KALIPI Real Federation, an organization composed of women leaders of different barangays of Bayan ng Real, and Women Go Project Team while Mr. Leo James Portales, Municipal Government Department gave a message Head of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office in Real, Quezon, to them while developing their Strategic Plan on October 12, 2021. The Strategic Plan is a process of looking back and adjusting the vision, mission, goals, and strategy of the organization to be the basis of their focus, plan, and activities within five years.
"Before, KALIPI was formed only once a year to attend the Womens Month Celebration... now the KALIPI Real Women's Federation is a partner in formulating their policy, planning and even budgeting," - Leo James Portales (MGDH -MSWDO Real, Quezon).
Mr. Portales also happily announced the upcoming recognition or accreditation of the local government of Real in the KALIPI Real Federation. "..At first I was really hesitant about KALIPI Real because I see that it will not be sustainable because of the political change. But now, the Real People's Government recognizes you as a partner in reaching women in the community. Previously, KALIPI was only formed once a year to attend the Womens Month Celebration in Lucena Town, Quezon and after that there were no other activities that followed, now the KALIPI Real Women's Federation collaborates in formulating their policy, plan and even in budgeting”.
He also looked back and happily recounted the journey of KALIPI Real Organizations together with Haribon's Women Go Project. From having Organizational Profiling and Assessment to DOLE Accreditation. He said this is a big help, because in the month of September 2020, the Local Government of Real has just started forming the KALIPI Federation Real. It is also said that through the assessment led by the Women Go Team, they found out their current state. They also identified the capabilities and those that still need to be improved by the organization through the Organizational Capacity Assessment. They were also given technical assistance during KALIPI monthly meetings and served as a guide to get KALIPI Cawayan and Poblacion 1 accredited by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) of Quezon.
He also rejoiced at the effect of the Facilitators Training on Basic Ecology and Environmental Laws that resulted in the active, fluent, and self-confident KALIPI Federation, he said, "Before you were afraid to speak, now as I listen to you, it's like you are also the trainer. The impact is visible, knowledge is gained. There is a continuity of people who are being built up to become leaders of the Federation”.

His face shows sincere gratitude for the stronger KALIPI because of the Haribon Foundation's Women Go Project . At the end of his message, he said, "The Haribon Foundation's Women Go Project will end but the KALIPI Federation Real will not disappear, no matter who the Mayor and Captain are. Like any other association that is active, developing, and achieving something, the KALIPI Real Federation is also like that.”
