Why are forests important?

Did you know that more than 90% of water in Metro Manila comes from the Sierra Madre? This is because we still have forests there.

But forests do more than give us water (which is already a lot!) They absorb carbon dioxide, which helps fight climate change. And forests have always been a source of life and livelihood for communities for ages.

If we lose our forests, we lose our water and more. Help us protect our forests from ridge to reef (yes, our mangroves too!)
