Joseph Riel A. Senga is an environmental development practitioner with extensive experience in conservation education, biodiversity advocacy, community engagement, fundraising, and project management.
He previously served as Partnerships Officer and Training Assistant at the Haribon Foundation, where he supported biodiversity education programs, native tree and forest initiatives, coastal clean-ups, birdwatching and learning sessions, and fundraising campaigns for conservation work.
His background also includes environmental restoration, protected area sustainability, community-based conservation, and field initiatives involving waterbirds, native trees, forest habitats, marine ecosystems, and the critically endangered Tamaraw.
With his grounding in biodiversity, ecosystem protection, and environmental education, Joseph brings a practical and field-informed perspective to the discussion on invasive species and why understanding them is essential to protecting native wildlife, habitats, and the communities that depend on them.
This webinar is part of a set of educational sessions called the Haribon Learning Circle: an interactive, community-driven space where members, experts, and environmental enthusiasts come together to deepen their understanding of Philippine biodiversity and sustainable living.
