Birdwatching

Did you know that bird populations tell us about the health of the environment? Declining numbers alerts us that something is wrong. At the same time, the places where they thrive lets us know that these are spaces where we can prosper, too.

In 1972, Haribon was initially founded as a birdwatching society. Today, more than 50 years later, we continue to bring the love of birds and nature to people. We also encourage everyone to become “citizen scientists” though various programs such as Birds in the City.

Birdwatching with Haribon lets you see the beauty of birds in a brand new light and opens your heart to all the unnoticed wonders of our shared home that are worth protecting and living for.
