Biodiversity on Wheels (& Web)

The Biodiversity on Wheels (and Web) or BOW is a moving classroom about nature that goes from one school to the next. It spreads awareness on biodiversity conservation among children and youth via a built-in multimedia and library on wheels with various engaging activities and learning materials.

Launched on Earth Day, April 2012, BOW is a biodiversity school and multimedia library rolled into one van. It visits schools and communities to teach environmental topics such as Philippine biodiversity and solid waste management.

BOW has conducted a wide array of engaging activities for youth new to biodiversity and environmental topics. Activities include film showings, storytelling, wildlife origami, environmental pledging, book readings, coloring activities, and more.

Through BOW biodiversity conservation is now more accessible to children, but more young people have yet to be reached to ensure a brighter future for ourselves and our environment.

See how your group or organization can support a BOW visit to your local school.
