Coastal Cleanups

Wetlands and coasts are unsung heroes that provide people and wildlife places to thrive. These areas are also landing sites for thousands of migratory birds that travel great distances to find warmth away from their winter breeding grounds.

Cleanups with Haribon are important wake-up calls that reveal the scale and consequence of the country’s pollution and waste management issues, and how lack of awareness is partly behind it all.

Each session will move you to choose more sustainable choices. Clean-ups motivate people to support these threatened ecosystems, especially those found among the last remaining wetlands in Metro Manila.
