Dear Haribon Members,
As you are aware, the Government has extended the ‘enhanced’ community quarantine until May 15, 2020.
In response, we shall take all reasonable measures to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of our entire community — including staff, members, partners and other stakeholders of the foundation. As such, we are continuing the implementation of a work from home arrangement for the same period.
Further, the foundation acknowledges that even if the ECQ is lifted in the next few weeks, our “normal” has been altered. Physical distancing will become the new norm and mass gatherings may not be advised until a vaccine has been discovered. As such, the foundation shall postpone the Haribon Member General Assembly initially scheduled on May 9, 2020 until further notice.
However, given that this is an election year, Haribon is researching on possible platforms that will allow the members to participate in the election and ensure the integrity of the process. We are targeting that the electronic elections be held on June 2020. We would be happy to hear should you have any ideas on how to assist the foundation to implement this.
Please be assured that Haribon continues to operate and fulfill its obligations during this period. Haribon staff will continue to keep its lines open to members and partners and endeavor to respond to queries, albeit virtually.
Membership renewals and other transactions may still be done online. You may email membership@haribon.org.ph the transaction reference numbers so we can confirm your payment.
Temporarily, we will be sending you an Acknowledgement Receipt. However, official receipts and deliveries will only be processed once normal business operations resume. For further clarifications and other concerns you may contact Ms. Jeselle Kirit or Ms Leigh Garcia at
membership@haribon.org.ph.
In view of the current situation, we ask for your understanding. We thank everyone for keeping calm, remaining vigilant and for cooperating with these guidelines.
